Friday 27 February.
It was an easy day today after the frustrating efforts yesterday to get to Santa Cruz. We will get to the city yet; sometime before we return to the UK. After breakfast I read the paper and tried the crossword while listening to 'Desert Island Discs' on the radio. I went to the gym at 10am and Moira left with me but went in the other direction to Lidl for some shopping.
The weather was lovely and hot while I walked up the hill to the gym and I was thoroughly warmed up for the start of my workout when I got there. It was my legs today and I used all the machines as well as squats again with the big ball against the wall. I did a few ab exercises before finishing off and heading back to the flat.
In the afternoon after listening to Jeremy Vine on the radio while having lunch we sat outside in the sun. I finished my book then started to do some more work editing my VF book. At 5pm is was inside for the quizzes before dinner. I did more of the VF book before 'Mastermind' came on the TV. After that it was more TV, the 'Three Musketeers', before getting to bed at 10 pm.
