Sunday 8 February.
When I got up this morning to the bathroom my thigh was still feeling sore and stiff. I had intended to do a long run this morning but instead I went back to bed and rested my leg. Moira made our weekend 'full English' while I watched 'Match of the Day' on TV. I was going to go to the gym later in the morning but my throat started to get sore and I want feeling very good. It ended up a day in the flat and taking it easy.
The weather wasn't very good today. It was cold and in the afternoon it was raining. I had the radio on through the computer and all day we had the good selection of music, normal for a Sunday, from BBC Radio 2. I successfully completed the prize crossword in today's 'Telegraph'.
Most of the afternoon I spent reading my book about Tudor times 'Wolf Hall'. Suzy got I touch with us through FaceTime, Hollie was running about playing with a clockwork car that Suzy had to keep winding up and pushing it towards her. Gavin had been at the golf driving range and arrived back before the call ended with the news that Rangers had lost at Ibrox to Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup. He was happy with that.
In the evening we watched 'Countryfile' and 'Call the Midwife' which were very good. I got to bed at 9 pm tonight, I still wasn't feeling too good.
